I just love Barnstable chaps and I have worn them all my life. I know they aren’t making chaps anymore so I bought one last pair. They are high quality and fit perfect but unfortunately they are very sun bleached and there is a big line where they were folded and only one side bleached. Just be aware that some chaps are not in perfect condition. Otherwise I love them!
It took me 3 tries to get one that fit the way I wanted (because of limited inventory) but return was free, and easy. I kept at it because these chaps are so well made and made in the USA. I started looking at English chaps but ended up with the Western because of more room in the calf. I love my chaps from Barnstable! Wish I had found them earlier
So many use half chaps , I still
love full. colors are gorgeous and the
price so good I have 3 colors! beautiful
I really like the fit which is very close to a custom fit. The only issue I have is the zippers fail - the teeth fall out in the knee area. I really do not put blame on the quality.

Measuring Tips for A Perfect Fit!
Take measurements based on what you wear underneath your chaps. For example if you wear jeans, spandex, etc. take measurements with them on. When measuring make sure the tape is not too loose and not pulled too tight.
The 4 Key Measurement (Write it Down)
Waist - see bottom of size chart for details. (For example) If your measurements is a size 33" the sizes available on the chart would range between 30" and 36".
Thigh - No room to go below your measurements but you may be able to go up a size or two.
Inseam - short, regular, or long inseam.
Calf - slim, regular, and full calf
